can't see shadow or reflection

When I save an ebook image... with the shadow and reflection showing... the shadow or reflection doesn't come out... it only works when I use the floor... I wouldn't mind using the floor if it wasn't checkered, anyone know what I'm doing wrong??

What environments are checked?
