Some very infomative stuff you found there Gravy, Thanks for the heads up.

What I have found is that basically there are three types of logo :-

1,) Simple plain text or symbol to be used on paper, fax etc.

2,) same as above but including a symbol of the companys idendity

3,) A full blown graphic design for web page or T shirts & Caps

Now what seems to happen here on the Forum is that people ask for a "LOGO"
but rarely say what type they are looking for, ( it is possible that they want all three rolled into one)

So I was thinking if we made a sorta pre info form where plp requesting a logo should be filled out before, shouldnt be too hard, many of our people spend hours creating logos just to find out thats not even anything near what the person wants because of the lack of info at the beginning.

    This form should include:-

    Type of logo reqd.
    Size
    Colors
    Name to be used
    Tagline
Any existing web sites or templates.

What do other members of the Forum think I would be interested to find out your thoughts on this.

    Great Idea

Maybe a sticky should be put in the Logos wanted for all requesters to read before applying for a logo with the info.
