Would like to know, that with so many companies on this planet today, if i created a logo that i thought was unique, but later found out was not, would i be liable for Prosecution?

Bottom line though, would be to contact a good trademark lawyer for technical advice.

It is always wise to do your research. With the internet being the way it is it is easy for an anonymous surfer to copy, parody or make aclaim that some digital artifact is his or her own.

It is very clear that we should formulate different drules for the internet and therefore as far as trade marking is concerned you need the help of a good trade mark lawyer to ensure rgar your logo design is not stepping on anybody's toes.

I mean thing about say you have a comapny called Kevin's Foriegn Cars and you use the aacronym KFC you know that would create problems at some point wouldn't you then my good man do you research carefully and thoroughly.
