    PC Re-Download Programs

    Hello everyone,
I have to reinstall the Logo Creator program due to a hard drive failure. I have been emailing and even called for support to no avail. If anyone knows how to get support of any kind, I would appreciate it very much.

    Thank you for your time,

You can get a fresh download by looking up your order. http://www.thelogocreator.com/orderlookup.htm

Hello and thank you for your fast reply.

The problem with using the link that you provided is that I do not have access to my original order number and I do not remember which CC I used to purchase the program and logos sets.

I cannot get to any download area without this information.

    Thanks again,

I had to go through all of mine cc#'s when I lost my harddrive...but I was able to find my order.

PMing may be your best bet now...make sue you give Marc the correct email address that your confirmation was sent to. It does take time to go through all the information.

    Got your PM HiBid.
Check a PM back from me.

(note to others; it's very hard to offer you re- download information without an order number. Especially when you don't know which eMail address you used, or the credit card you used. Please keep your order number handy for the future. If you need to redownload your software you can use your order number - or, last 5 digits of your credit card information. visit: http://www.findmyorder.com)

A tip I would like to pass on to past, current, and future buyers of not just Laughingbird products but any products that require specific information to activate or redownload from the web. There are a number of ways to back this information up so it's available for future use. A simple text file with the pertinent information kept in a safe place makes for easy recovery of old information. Just about any type of media can handle a simple text file.

    1. Floppy disk - on the way out but still funtional in many cases. Con - holds very limited information but should suffice for text.

    2. CD burn - can hold considerably larger amounts of information in many formats. Should easily suffice for multiple text files and or pics/screenshots.

    3. USB memory sticks - the new wave of file transport/storage which will be around for quite some time to come and becoming EXTREMELY affordable. A 256MB USB memory stick on average shouldn't cost more than about $15-$20 nowadays.

    4. Web based email account. It's usually FREE and very easy to set yourself up an extra Yahoo Mail! account just for the purpose of sending yourself information that you might forget, via inline text and/or attached files such as images. When setting up your extra account, be sure to set all spam filters and profiles to maximum and don't use the account to mail from. Use it strictly as a repository and it's unlikely to ever see any spam mail.

If you are worried the information will be compromised, options 2 and 3 are best suited. Encryption software is also something worth considering.

All these methods are either free or very inexpensive.
Please, DO NOT try this at home!

    LM,
that is some good sound advice. I used a simple 256mb secure jumpdrive. Just in case that rainy day comes.
