    Unhappy Help sizing as GIF

I am having trouble sizing the logo I have created for my website. After I create it and try to export it as GIF it doesn't size to the dimensions I specify and looks horrible when I try to upload it to my website. The GIF has to be 285X95 for the website. Hers is what I am doing. Any help would be appreciated

    1) Create logo using default dimensions when it opens, I am editing a template
    2) Click More import options
    3) Type 285 in width hit enter
    4) Type 95 in height hit enter
    5) Press GIF
    6) Press Export then save it in my desired folder

when I go to open the GIF file the dimensions are 260x43 and look horrible. Please help. I have been at this for hours and can't figure it out. Thanks

    Hi Cyber.

... can you show us this Gif file?
Attach it to a post here in the forum, or show it to me on your site.

Hope to hear from you shortly.

    Here is my website

    http://www.cyberspots.net

The logo that is displayed now was created using LogoCreator v3. Of course I don't have the original due to a computer crash (thought I had it backed up). Long story short, I am changing the name and I am trying to recreate the same look that I had, same dimensions etc., but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm also finding that the export sizing options are not working for anything other than a transparent gif. It will just export it as the size I created it for any other option.

Why not just create it with the correct canvas size and export it directly?

Actually tried that and oddly enough, I am getting the same result. Just with GIF. JPEG is fine, PNG is fine

AWESOME! I don't know what you did to get it to size right, but this is perfect. I made some changes and uploaded it to my website. I would love any feedback on the design of the logo. Thanks again for your help
