need a logo

hi guys!

i will never figure out how you guys get ideas for logos but the posts i have seen in the gallery are great!

i have been in business for 18 years and have been trying to get a logo designed with the locals. some i paid in advance only to have my money refunded 'cause they were too busy. others were hard to understand.

as my nick implies, i'm a sparktrician. the company name is Days Electric, Inc. our motto, only 'cause it was a choice when we had busniess cards printed, is "Fast Professional Service" and we do just that.

i'm not really too keen on animated logos but some of the ones i've seen would look great on t's, caps...etc.

i like the latter. i have never seen that cartoon character before. would look great on a t.

the first i have seen. the cord went all around the edge and the devices were on the side as well.

do you have any ideas for something non animated?

i can picture the 3rd on letterheads jennifer. i like it.

was wondering how long it would take someone to do a take off on the name katie :) i use an a/c sun on my business cards now.

it's just a plain sun i picked from the printing company, nothing fancy.

there's a company with the same initials, diebold, that i came across many years ago. they did security and atm stuff for banks. i just did a search and looks like they changed and registered their logo. still, DEI brings diebold to mind.

did i mentioned i have 3 different hand drawn artworks i paid for but none were good enough to use?

at least i wasn't convinced it was what i wanted on business cards.

there was 1 i came close to using. it had a lightning bolt in the name. seemed just too cliche.

i did a search for logo companies and the logo creator came up more than once. i read several of the forums on which to buy, checked the gallery, etc...
