Reinstall mainform error

I just reinstalled the corporate identity creator because I was having a problem importing my own backgrounds (the thumbnail would hang on "loading" and even though it would show up in the main area, would not save").

Now, I can't get it to open at all.
I get a MainForm error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediatly.

You may find it beneficial to remove the CiC program folder before getting a fresh download and reinstalling, followed by a cold reboot of the computer.

Thank you! It took several tries, rebooting in between each step, but managed to get it going. I appreciate the quick tip! Still can't get it to save with my imported backgrounds like in this post,
