I already had a purchased copy of Logo Creator and then also purchased CiC - I did not get the additional logo templates that were mentioned. I saw a previous posting about the same saying I should have a "drop down" in Logo Creator for CiC Logos, don't have it options are Bonus Logos, Corporate Edition, My Logos, Trial Logos. How do I get my additional logos for CiC?

I haven't had any reply from anyone at all. I have sent a PM to Digger to see if he is available to help.

Hi Casey & K&D!

Casey, got your pm. I was trying to do some research on it before replying, but haven't successfully found anything yet. I do read on the CIC webpage, that there is a built-in Logo Creator engine within CIC. The logos may have never made it over into your seperate LC software. I don't use CIC and don't have it currently installed on this machine, so I can't go into my program files to check. If you can, please check your CIC program files to see if you have a file for the logos. If so, you can copy and paste those into your LC folder and they will appear in the drop down menu there.

Marc is currently working diligently on a few software upgrades (we finally threw him in a cave and told him he could have food and water when they were done :dwink:), so I'm not sure how soon he'll be able to jump in here, but if any of the other MODS/Admins have any other suggestion, I'm sure they'll post here.

Thank's Digger.

Had to do some digging (no pun intended) but located a subfolder in my Logo Creator directory "\The Logo Creator v5\Resources\LL", I copied this folder into this directory - "\The Logo Creator v5\Logo Libraries" and there they were!

Hi CaseyVA, K&D.

Where did you purchase (or download) the CICreator from?
The installer should (does) contain both The Logo Creator and The Corporate Identity Creator. Seperate programs. But both in the download.

You should have the option of installing one, or both when you first launch the installer.

Did this not happen to either of you?

- Marc

By the way, CaseyVA - If you unlock The Logo Creator - the logos you mention above will install automatically.

Thanks for stopping in Marc.

Since my download only included the CIC stand alone, I couldn't confirm how it went out to everyone else.

Casey, glad you could find what you were looking for, but please help Marc out with his questions. I'm sure he's wanting to confirm some things on his end.

Where did you purchase (or download) the CICreator from? .Purchased on Laughingbird website

The installer should (does) contain both The Logo Creator and The Corporate Identity Creator. Seperate programs. But both in the download..Yes, the installer does have both programs in it and it provided me the option of installing either or both of the programs. For the Logo Creator there is a little button that says "What if I already have a version of the logo creator", when I click on that it says this version will automatically install 50 additional logos.

I tried installing the Logo Creator that came with CIC - the install seemed to work but no logos. I tried copying the directory I found and it didn't work either. What I wound up trying was uninstalling both programs completely and re-installing but The Logo Creator would not accept any codes I put in so I had to install the version I already had over top of it to get rid of the "Trial" notices. The CIC Logos are visible now I can see them in the templates window but when I click on one to open it it just brings up an empty image screen and does not go through the building image bit.

If you unlock The Logo Creator - the logos you mention above will install automatically.
Tell me how!
