I just bought and installed the software the other day and the Corporate Identity Creator is giving me an error message everytime I try to save an edit, identity or do just about anything.
I am using a iMac Intel with 10.4 release on it.
The error message says:
Director Player Error
String does not end correctly
save Uxml "userci.xml:, "<root><userci><userinfo>
Then listing fields.
No work can be saved, frustrating as it is delaying my project.
Any help is appreciated

Hi Hoppolong sorry to hear about the problems you are having. I may not be much help here as I am not a Mac user but will try to offer a couple of suggestions 'till one of our Mac gurus (Laughingbird or KD-did) come online.
Firstly Marc (Laughingbird) always suggests using Stuffit to expand the package for installation. Make sure you have the latest version of Stuffit Expander:
StuffIt unzip Expander Deluxe shareware
Specifically: FREE StuffIt Expander for Macintosh - Access Anything!
Get the free version for Mac.
Even if you already have a version of Stuffit - download the new version from Allume.
Secondly after installing the Mac experts say you should 'repair permissions'
Lastly try a cold reboot of your computer, it often does the trick.
If all the above fail then send Laughingbird a pm explaining your problem.

I have just purchased WGC and am having an error with the software on my iMac Intel. On my home computer (a PPC) I can use the button creator fine. On the work one (the Intel) I am unable to preview the buttons when selected and I get the error message:
Director Player Error
Integer expected
"Error: file has not been opened"
Script Error. Continue?
I am not allowed to save the files I create.
Thank you for your response. :)
PS I have the most recent version of stuffit, and I have repaired the permissions.

Hi lseapy.
You mention you get the error when previewing the buttons.
Do you mean when you click each button on the right (see screenshot below) ? Or do you mean after you've exported?
Either way , it's odd.
I've never seen this error message before.
This may be due to a Flash player issue.
Let me know on the question above so I know how to work on this.

I have determined that the problem lies with the Mac Intel and its inability to run Shockwave in anything other than Rosetta mode. While technically this is a Shockwave problem, I do feel duped in this software because obviously many others Intel Mac users are having this problem. Laughingbird should notify people before they buy the software that it won't run on any of the new Macs.
In the future, I would suggest providing some information stating this software is not functional on Intel Macs before people buy it. I have purchased your other products in the past, but I won't be buying them again.

Hi lseapy.
I'm always sorry to hear of a Mac users disappointment.
I'm a huge Mac user myself. In fact, most of my software started on the Mac!
I'll check in on this Flash/Mac Intel issue.
I don't have a problem on my end, so there's something that was not installed on your computer if you're unable to see the buttons.
If there are any other Mac Intel users out there reading this, will you let us know here if you can successfully export a button from The Web Graphics Creator?

Ipseasy,
there is a Flash player for Intel Macs. See if the link below helps any:
