A friend of mine, Jim Kinlan, is a software developer. He runs the Templatezone.com (http://www.templatezone.com)
He's developing some new software called "PingPoint". (it's Software mainly for us developers).

He needed a logo for the site, ...so I created a few renditions for him using The Logo Creator:

But in the end, he decided to go with the folks over at LogoWorks (http://www.logoworks.com/):

I like it very much. It's simple and to the point.
That's the key in Logo Design.

This keeps me humble :D

Give this some thought.
...There's a reason they say "keep it simple stupid!"

What's interesting is that the work you produced above, I can see more on the side of a building or vehicle ...or better yet, packaging. Whereas Logoworks has a more traditional style of logo design. I think they are both great.

Good stuff Big Bird!

Marc,

Ask Jim if he knows me! I call his help line all the time :)

All the templatezone software is pretty cool and user friendly! I've been using it for 3 years or better.

Thanks,
Ryan.
