Logo Design Help

Hi All!

I'm hoping some of you might want to share some of your creative juices.

I have a blog that I would like to create a logo for that incorporates elements from my company logo. My blog is called The PREVA Report (http://www.agentsolutions.ca/blog) and my company website (which is in the middle of a redesign) can be viewed at Agent Solutions (http://www.agentsolutions.ca).

My blog can be categorized as Real Estate and I would like to see if I can incorporate the colored squares in my company logo into my new blog logo. I just want it to all tie in together.

I'd love to see your ideas. Let me know if you need any additional information to get started.

Do you own The Logo Creator? YES If yes the designer can send you the .tlc file when they are done(if they want to) for you to have and use. You can just open the logo up with The Logo Creator and edit it if need be. You must discuss this with the designer through PM or e-mail. If you do not own The Logo Creator just put no or N/A.

Company Name: The PREVA Report

Desired tagline: N/A...haven't come up with one yet

Color scheme: Blues, Yellows, White...see company logo colors

Desired style: Professional (I think) Welcome any other suggestions.

Just had a minute to check out the blog - what's wrong with your current logo? I like it! It should be very easy to combine the two names into this one.

Thanks Randy! I like it too but call me crazy; I never do things the easy way. I kind of wanted to have a logo just for my blog.

That's a great starting point. These are my initial thoughts:

I like the use of the colored squares.
I'm not sure I really like the fonts being used.
Prima should actually be PREVA
I'm wondering if we could somehow incorporate someting real estate...such as a real estate sign.

Hey Warlock! I'm wondering if we could make the squares smaller and incorporate a real estate sign somewhere. I'm not sure I want the squares to be the main focal point. Also I would like the PREVA to be all caps.

We don't "have" to use the colored squares as I am open to other suggestions as long as it sort of ties-in with my other logo somehow.

I gotta idea Im going to post here in a few..We are having a bad flooding situation here today, Im only 25 yards away from a creek that is about to overflow and we are getting alot of rain today...So I got to be a watching this situation closely so I dont have to swim to Indiana from Texas :)

Yeah...I guess you could say Its rather a shocking experience Welding in rain with a stick welder :)

Ok...You are coming up with some great ideas and I love the yard sign you put in there. My idea for the logo has changed slightly now so let me try to explain what I'm thinking.

With the yard sign (in yellow like you have it) on the left.
Then right underneath the "sign" part insert The PREVA Report

I know it must sound very plain, but it might be something to start with.

What do you think?

Just a suggestion to you Proto need to make your images so we can click on them and make them bigger so we can really see them better ..Im old as dirt and me eyes aint so good no mo...Im a welder...I see bright lights all the time :)

Worlock, I really like the concept but it looks a bit busy. Can we try it with just one sign instead of the three and maybe try to match the colors more to my original colors.

I thought your thread was in "help wanted" so I made a rough sketch and not a clean render... anyway is done. It is the first thing I came with after your pm, took long to be post because I was a bit busy.

The idea is to use your original color symbol (I used blue, you have one piece orange) with other point of view and from it drop a solid shadow in a house shape.

I can render the icon, of course if you are interested.

monyc: Your samples are wonderful; they really caught my eye. Nice touch having the Agent Solutions underneath. I don't want to confuse the issue but I'm wondering if we could maybe change the font for Preva Report and capitalize PREVA and add "The" so it reads:

I'm not sure what you mean or how to do that. Mr Mod , can you clairify ?Also,
Is there anything you want to change on my idea ?

Dolphin requires that the logo will be able to be placed on any color background and the logo will look good and the color will show. You can try exporting as a transparent png or gif, but some images still carry artifacts around the edges that don't look so good.
