Yesterday, I tried to place an order online for this software "The Corporate Identity Creator" but the process was unable to go through. The error message is:
We're Sorry.
We're having a problem processing your order.
Please contact Customer Service.
(Error Number: 30024003 - 0)
I called Marc, his mailbox is full, I emailed him and Digital River but no responses. I called Tech Support (805)484-7676. This is not a phone number but a fax number(?)
Totally I gave up to contact Laughingbird!
Please check your website and reply immediately to let me know what the problem is and how an order can be placed online. I'd appreciate that.

Have you tried today? Sometimes, online providers have server issues. I would give it another try before throwing your hands in the air. I'll also shoot a note to Marc to let him know. He may already know if there was some sort of problem.

Yes, I tried this morning too, but they are the same, I tried also to use another credit card to make sure if it was wrong from my side, but nothing new happened. I'm affraid of my credit cards will get double, triple... charges with this matter.

Hello ZW.
I'm sorry to hear this!
I'm checking in with DigitalRiver.com to see what the trouble is. I don't see anything wrong on my end (I've done a test purchase and all seems to be going well).
Where are you in the world?
I wonder if this has anything to do with it.

Hi Marc,
I'm right next to you in Westlake Village. I did purchase online the MEGApak two weeks ago without any likely problem.

to the original poster:
I was suposed to get a free copy of corporate identity builder with version 4 logo creator, but never did. i just bought version 5 logo creator, hopeing it is less buggy than version 4.
I had simular problems when i complained about the first version, seems it was easier to delete my messages than to give me my free gifts, or give me anything free to make me a satisfied customer. Even what i was suposed to get free with the software. Here i am again with version 5, i read "register now and get a free gift" but no mention what i get after i registered. :(
not really happy yet

Cosmic, I'm sorry to hear of your problem. Your original post was before my time here on the boards. I think you can see that I try to get to everyone and if needed, bring Marc in on the conversation. From what I can see, your original post is still there (http://www.logodesignforum.com/forums/raves-rants/5719-no-freebies.html). If I would have been in your shoes and not gotten any action, I would have bumped your post and try to get someone to answer it. Instead of honing in on this thread which doesn't have anything to do with your problem, please just revisit your original thread and ask someone to take a look at it, if you'd like.
Back to the orginal thread. :image28:

Sorry that some issues that look not related to mine were posted to this thread. I still have not finished my question with Marc and expected a resolution. Is there any way to focus back to my question as it was started?

I understand your hurry to get things fixed so you can make the purchase. Please be patient with Marc. I know he's completely swamped right now with another pressing issue. He will make it right with you.

I tried to order once more at a different PC with a different internet connection (different ISP, firewall, configurations) but the result remained the same. Please figure out from the error code supplied above and let me know when the order process is available.
Thanks,
Worlock

If I may make a suggestion...I would copy the error code and contact the company that took your order and ask them to specify what exactly does the error code mean...I think once you have that knowledge then you can proceed on knowing what to do next. Your getting an error code...but no one knows what it stands for...So it may not be on Laughingbirds side but the site from which the order is being placed. Once that has been established, Help shouldnt be a problem.

Thanks for all your good suggestions.
Digital River, the online contracted website with Laughingbird software should understand that code and they should contact and give more information to both customer and software creator and give us the solution. But we here have tried to solve this issues by ourselves without any direction from Digital River, is that fair?
By anyway, I tried to use another credit card with another email address and the order went through. I got the downloadable software and have it started.
We might see each other in this forum again when I would have questions how to use the software the best.
Once again, I would truly appreciate your help.
