Hello:
I have been away for a while. I Just bought a new computer system which has windows vista installed. I would like to install the software but I am a little concerned because I really dont know if the software will run smoothly like on my Windows Xp. Now is there any updates for Windows Vista.

I believe in Vista, you can tell it to run the software like it was running in XP. There's a box to click somewhere.....now, I have to go find that info. This would be the 2nd request today.

Link doesn`t work as my trial.
Is there anybody who can explain why I get error while opening trial. I uninstalled due to this issue. I`d love to buy TLC but my concern is that I may have the same problem and nobody give me back my money. I`m on Vista Ultimate

I just wanted to let you know that I am running Vista Ultimate and have had no known issues to date with this software. You have to tweak the Vista User Control Settings to get most programs to function correctly.Google it and you'll be good to go. Personally, I've had better success graphically with Vista than XP and the overall dynamics of Vista U. are better than most.
Good luck,
Ryan.

HOMESIGHT thank you for your reply. I think the issue is not Vista itself but language problem. I run VU which is basic Japanese, but I downloaded MUI English Language pack from Microsoft, so it looks like 100% english OS. Anyway, many programs I download shows Japanese pop-ups to click "NEXT" in order to continue, though the soft I download is 100% English and after download runs in English. I don`t want to change anything in my PC like keyboard etc because of "ONLY" this one soft which cannot handle thing and is designed toward english only PCs. There are plenty of software I have in english on my PC (Micromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro 8, NERO, etc) which don`t interfere with my PC. I think LC is great but developers should take this into account when making great tool as LC. Maybe this is only trial which has something wrong in it, but I don`t want to risk and buy something it won`t work.
If not your reply I wouldn`t think back about being here. I have already forgotten, but it`s great someone like you replied and made me back here. I still want to have it, but...as mentioned above developers have still a lot of job to do, or maybe just some small update.
Thank You I very appreciate your post.:image28:

I just launched the trial software in Vista and it was working fine, but when I tried to use one of the 7 trial sample logo's, it started loading, and then my brand new laptop computer crashed and flashed the blue screen of death, and then restarted. Anyone have any ideas why? I'm almost afraid to try that software again. I started to go to that Windows Vista link above but it says page cannot be displayed. HELP!!! :image10:

Hi Fisher,
Welcome to the forum.
I've never encountered this with my Trial on Vista before.
... anybody else reading this experience something similar?
Sounds like I may have to update the trial's "wrapper" for Vista use.
(I use a system from a company called Softwrap (http://www.softwrap.com)). I'll check on this.

Anyone have any thoughts or updates on this thread? I'm a little nervous about trying this on my new laptop again, but really feel like I need to see if this software is the answer to my logo design woes!!!! =)
