Construction Logo Needed

I am having a problem coming up with a logo for my friend's construction company. It is Scott Carpenter Construction and I need some that I can edit but everything I am coming up with seems a little "cheap" looking...

Any help would be great

Full requirements: Something very catchy.. like the work he does, maybe a house under construction or being repaired

Company Name: Scott Carpenter Construction

Desired tagline: Quality is not just word... It is our business

Color scheme: No color scheme in mind.. open to anything

Desired style: flashy, professional

Notes to designers: Thanks for your help.. He just got thru with my kitchen and it looks like a new house was moved in where mine was. I just wanted this logo to reflect his professionalism and work quality..

He does all matters of repair and remodeling like deck's, additions, remodeling, new construction.. See where I'm going?

Thanks for stopping in....remember, these are just samples. Thru feedback from you, these samples can be tweaked to completely satisfy you. If you see something you like or don't like, let the designers know.

Oh Gee...Yes He did...But after my perposal I never heard back if it was ok...and actually I dont send until I get compensation first because Ive done that before and never recieved anything back...But I will tell you what! Just to show my appreciation Conn200....Im not going to charge you anything for the logo...But I woud however appreciate some feedback on the logo and I'll PM you on and how to do that ok? Where do I need to send the tlc file too again?
