:helpnow: Hello, I just downloaded Logo Creator. Bought it immediately. It has great potential. Can some one help me ? When I bought the software using Paypal, I got a email from Softwrap with a Purchase Reference Number. I assumed that is the activation code ? I tried to activate the software at least 10 times to get it out of demo mode but it will not activate. 3 emails to Softwrap have gone unanswered. Is there a different way to reach LaughingBird so I can activate the software I purchased ? Thanks in advance.

Softwrap is not who you need to contact. They are a different company all together. Send Marc aka Laughingbird a PM with your order information. He is the one to take care of that.

Hi HST.
Welcome to the forum.

Softwrap is a company that I use to "digitally wrap" my Trial version. With the trial version, you can unlock the software using a credit card or PayPal payment.

This unlocks the software without the need for an unlock key.
This unlocking feature is different than what I use on the software that is purchased from my website.

... after you entered your payment, are you still being asked for a key? If so, where did you happen to download your version of The Logo Creator from?

Yes, I paid via paypal and recieved confirmation from both Paypal and Softwrap. Sent 4 emails to Softwrap for assistance with no reply. Glad I found this forum and you.

Hmmmm...
Odd.

You shoudn't be asked for a key in the Trial version at all.

See a PM from me HST

I had exactly the same problem when I payed with paypal.
It took weeks of emailing before I got it resolved. Many ingnored emails from technical support. Be persistant. Even the free month of photo-objects that came with it, I would have never got if I didnt call them myself.

As far as the product, I cant complain. I have very little talent and Ive won 2 logo contests using it and made back my purchase price times 7.

mikep1 and others, I am positive if you had sent a PM to laughingbird (Marc)through the forum with your purchase information you would have had much faster results. Paypal purchases do take a little more time to research .

Actually, I did contact Marc through this forum.
I give him the credit for getting it resolved and by the number of emails that I had back and forth, I am convinced that It would not have been resolved without his involvement...

My recommendation to anyone is dont use the paypal option. And dont count on the standard technical support group to handle these issues.

The Paypal payment and activation process obviously still has some issues to be worked out.

i never had any trouble getting the software thru paypal, but do know of softwrap. they will get back to you as i use them all the time to. i use a program called living picture maker and photoplay.

i have lost my key on more than one occassion due to hard drive crashes and they seem to get back to me in a few days.
just my opinion. thanks all.
