The Flash Ad Creator version 2.0 upgrade!
Posted January 23rd, 2007

Yes! It's finally here!

What you need:
Version 1.x of The Flash Ad Creator already installed on your machine. Mac OSX and Windows versions of the update are available.

This update contains enhancements and bug fixes:
This is a major version update. This update is free to all current users of version 1.x

• There are now 3 ways to export your Flash. One of the export options now lets you export your Flash (.swf) file as a 'stand alone' file. No more need for the 'assets' folder.

• This new version now includes "The Logo Creator" engine. It ships with over 50 pre-designed Ads (much like The Logo Creator contains logo templates, The new Ad Creator contains pre-designed Ad campaigns)

• You can now create much longer text strings.

• You can now change the font, size and color of the text!

• Now includes over 100 animated ad templates.

More feature and product enhancements will be posted to the website (http://www.flashadcreator.com) as I create them!

Not sure if any other Mac users noticed...when you click on the link above is it downloading a TLC 5.1 application?

Woops!
My bad.

The link above now links to The Flash Ad Creator.

... sorry about that!

HA!
That's too wierd.

The link clearly says "FlashAdCreator.dmg"!
... but I too was directed to the Logo Creator update!

NOW it works.
I've double checked it on 3 machines.

Hi Marc,

I just downloaded the final release update of Flash Ad Creator 2. Terrific program!

Can one turn off the cartoon in the banner ads? I clicked on the 'off' radio button, but the cartoon remains.

Any ideas?

Randy

Marc

Let me the first to apologize for nagging you. I am sure that many of us just love the software and can't live without. Thanks again for the update.

Hey Randy. Once you export the flash ad the cartoon will not be there. I tried this and it showed up on the ad while creating it but after export it wasn't there.

This might be a fix till he gets a fix for it.

Marc , Flash Ad Creator version 2.0 looks great and is much easier to use than before....(at least we can use it...) BUT as a foreigner, I must write with some special and accentuated caracters ( accents mainly, in french) but it doesn't work : they display ok but don't export or display when clicking the ad in actual size...
Any hope for an non-us update ?
thks

Flash Ad Creator v. 2 seems to work with animated ads, but when I click on non-animated, I get this error message:

"Softwrap Message: Could not load softwrap dll"

Marc, (or anybody)

How do I export the stand alone flash ad swf file without needing an assets folder? I don't see anything close to showing how.

Am I missing something?

Hi Marc, I tried to download the flash ad creator upgrade but it keeps telling me the archive is invalid when I try to unzip it. I tried with winzip and winrar and get same message from both, please advise, thanks, love your software.
