Software wont load on my Mac?????

"TLC5_MEGApak_Edition-1.sit" could not be opened. Script Editor cannot open files in the "Script Editor.app Document" format.....

This is the error message I get when I click to load the fie. I downloaded it twice to make sure the downlaod was good and yes I downloaded the Mac Version OS X Help anyone??????????

I am somewhat new to the Mac so maybe I am doing something wrong on my end......

Hi Kmusnshower.

Make sure you have the latest version of Stuffit Expander:
http://www.allume.com
Specifically: http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/index.html

Get the free version for Mac.
Even if you already have a version of Stuffit (which you may not since you have an new machine) - download the new version from Allume.

Stuffit Expander is a tool to decompress files you download on the net.
It's a must have for all us Mac users!
