Volleyball Logo needed

Hey all,

What can we come up with for a beach volleyball logo? A friend of mine is running a beach volleyball league called "Edge Volleyball" He will have the "Edge series" "Edge Event" stuff like that. So obvisously "Edge" is what we're going for here :-) However, I'm having trouble coming up with a concept. I've attached some volleyball logo's that already exist to get everyone's creative juices flowing. I was also thinking of something with the two E's in Edge... (EdgE with one of the "E" flipped; what do you think?) - I also just dropped "Edge" into a volleyball.

What the logo is for is a website - but mainly for a hat or T-Shirt logo - this league is just a beach volleyball bar league, no profit or anything. - So it needs to be simple and able to print with one or two colours (cheaper that way)

here's another try.... I don't know... ugh. Also, this is what I meant with the lettering (I think "magneto" is almost the same as the lettering for the Wilson volleyball)

:Idea: i thought the 2 Es could serve as the posts and the net represented by the horizontal lines... then i included a volleyball (sorry i dont have that image, lol ) to make it an illustrative logo.

I think it needs a volleyball in there - I think a round logo may be best - something for a hat right.... What if you flipped those E's around so they face out instead of in?

i think it is better that the word Edge be bigger than the word Volleyball as this is the major element of the logo? if you embed the volleyball clipart of zipper in your logo, there would also be no need to put the word volleyball. Am also curious as to what those 2 red parts of your circle represent...
