sanane, first you will need to choose font or fonts that can be installed to your OS's(operating system for MAC or PC) font file. Once installed to the font file you can use it or them with TLC. You may need to use a character map and use ALT plus the numerical code (hold down the Alt key plus the numbers code) for proper display.
cxt extension is for embedded TLC font files. They are programmed into TLC

I just upgraded from TLC3 to TLC4 and migrated my logo libraries. However, it appears that not all of the embedded fonts came along for the ride. Notably the "El Ranchero" font is not included in v4. Can someone explain where these embedded fonts reside and how to migrate them to the upgrade folder?

Disregard previous question - I found all the old fonts in /resources/canvas/fonts and copied them over. However, this begs the question - Why weren't all the old TLC fonts included in the new upgrade, or migration? Kind of a pain for working with old logos.

Changes in some licenses made it necessary to remove some fonts.

Grrrrrr...bad user centered design. Sounds like reason enough not to upgrade the software!
