adding animated gifs

I know there was a thread started about adding animated gifs that remain animated, but I cannot find it. I also remember that one of the members was able to do it, but I don't remember if he/she ever said how.
Can anyone help me?

that is really cute... but I still don't know how to do it... I have PSP8 and there is nothing in the help files about animation....
how did you do that?

Well done Shelly.. Mary Ann do you have JASC Animation Shop on your computer?.. If you have psp 8 then Animation shop is part of that but you can use it as a separate program.. Have you ever seen it on your computer?as in an icon on your desktop..
