I have Logo Creator V 3.5.1. Today I purchased Logo Expansion pack 1 "A collection of new objects" from CompUsa. I installed it per the directions and made certain it went in my Logo Libraries Directory as TLC Expansion Pack. One thing I do notice is that the TLC Expansion Pack 1 directory has a sub directory also named TLC Expansion Pack 1 and under this directory is the sub directory "Logo Artwork".
The behaviour I am experiencing is that when I am in Logo Creator I do have the Expansion Pack Option but it just opens up a window, which is blank. I tried a reload of the Expansion Pack , that did not help.
Any help appreciated. Splitrimz.

The Expansion Pak doesn't open in the exact way a template does.
Try opening any template, click on any element this should bring up the element setter.
Pull down menu and then select the expansion pak, choose your element

Hi, thanks for the response.
I tried the suggestions, unfortunately when the Element
Setter opens, the pull down menu disappears. Therefore I cannot do anything.

Try a fresh re-install the Expansion Pak...which should install it correctly without anything but clicking on an ok by you.

Hi,
I did the reinstall, same symptoms as stated above. One thing is that I am not installing in the default directory as suggested by the installation program. My selected directory is f:\\program files\.................... I don't think that should stop it from working.

It needs to be installed so that it goes into TLC's library.

It is in the TLC directory. However I am going to reinstall TLC and Expansion pack and let them install in whatever directory the installer suggests, just to see what happens.
Thanks, Splitrimz

Hi Again,
Installing both programs to the directory where the installer wanted to put them fixed the problem. I would think that both TLC and the expansion should be able to be installed whereever I want. However, I won't mess with success. Thanks for your help.

splitrimz..... your problem was occuring because the Expansion Pak was being installed one directory deeper than it should have been.
If I understand your original problem correctly, this is what you had after trying to install to your desried location:
The Logo Creator/Logo Libraries/TLC Expansion Pack 1/TLC Expansion Pack 1(+contents)
...if this is correct, you should be able to solve your problem by dragging all the contents of the TLC Expansion Pack 1 directory to the directory(same name) one level up and then deleting the now empty one.
...Logo Libraries/TLC Expansion Pack 1/TLC Expansion Pack 1(drag ALL contents from this folder 1 level UP)
....should now look like this:
...Logo Libraries/TLC Expansion Pack 1(+contents and empty folder named TLC Expansion Pack 1)
The now empty folder named TLC Expansion Pack 1 can be deleted.
If you decide to do this, post your results.

You must have bought the Mega Pack and until recently that would have been all sets and that is why you got the erroneus message. Be sure and send laughingbird (Marc the creator) a PM so he can get this fixed for you and others.
