To those who provided feedback at my first try in designing a logo, thank you for your assistance. I've attached two logos for additional feedback and ideas of what could be improved upon. I would certainly appreciate the constructive criticism.

I think your 2nd design above is better than the first,however, I do think that more stress on your name should be reflected in your logo.

I think you're on the right track but maybe just incorporating too much into the logo. take one element and lean on it...
