Hey all - new user here - just downloaded the software today. Looking for some ideas on the creation of a logo theme. Company is a sales/management firm that assists franchise organizations to grow their brands by selling franchise locations and offering top level management services. Company is AMMC (Stands for Another Multi Million Company) and their tagline is currently "Where Your Goals Become Our Dreams". Not sure their going to keep it. Currently, the majority of franchise brands are in the QSR (Quick Serve Restaurant) catagory. That's the new PC way of saying Fast Food. Think good quality Subway. I've attached a .jpg first run - any thoughts?

Help is actually more then pointing to your (commercial) site!, how about posting some actual logo design ideas or some constructive advice, even just your opinion on the design as it is, would have been more help and a better contribution to this forum.

welcome to the forum!
First of; looks like you've gotten the hang of TLC pretty fast, this design shows you know how to handle the tools in it very nicely.
Good technique not so good design, the setup is ok although i'de loose the swhooses and small text. The shades of green kinda blend and make the grafix go into one big (green) blob. I'd go with contrasting or complementing colors. Last thing i'd suggest is to use a font with no "feet" and don't layer the letters.
Just some thoughts, like you asked for.

Your off to a good start. Just remember to keep it simple. For example: in your logo I would lose the gradient effect on the text. Solid color text is usually the best. But you seem to be off to a good start.
