Could anyone recommend a good site for free clipart?

Do you rely on free clip art or do you purchase them?

Thanks

Clip art collections are cheap enough that anyone/everyone
should have at least one in their disc collection. Even if the
art isn't exactly what you may need, it serves a good purpose
in drafting rough ideas.

Thanks,

which clip art collections, if any, do you recommend?

none in particular to recommend......a lot of them have crossover anyways.
Just go to your local software retailer and read through the offerings.
You can also search the web but be wary of copywrighted materials
and royalty required stuff.

Often if you do a specific "search for'' like for say dog clipart in the searchline you will be given many choices to visit and get FREE clipart that is royalty free.

instead of dog clipart

In google try it like this to refine your results

clipart + dog (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=clipart+%2B+dog&btnG=Search) Click to see 566,000 pages

or

intext:clipart + dog (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=intext%3Aclipart+%2B+dog&btnG=Search) Click to see 482,000

or

intitle:clipart + dog (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=intitle%3Aclipart+%2B+dog&btnG=Search) Click to see 53,000 pages

or

inurl:clipart + dog (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=inurl%3Aclipart+%2B+dog&btnG=Search) Click to see 16,000 pages

Interesting. This last search changed to target teachers

Just picked up the info today and though I would test it and share it since
I have been reasearching some ideas.
