Help!!!

Hi Marc,

I just installed your new 3.6 Demo, I just purchased your 123 combo package and your expansion package, the demo ran fine when I install the new ones they come up version 3.5 and I can not load anything keep getting memory errors.

I'm not Marc but
this should work to possibly get you around the problems.
1. Install v3.6 demo again to a different location.
2. Move the folders for the bought packages to the new install location.
2a. Make note of the file structure when moving to the new location.
3. Your bought package key should allow you to open and use those items in v3.6 if I am not mistaken.

I'm really sorry about that. It's all due to one little file in the "Xtras" folder.

This new updater below should update your full 123 combo pak to the latest and greatest:

Windows:

Mac:
http://www.thelogocreator.com/demo/TLCv36_Updater.sit

Update it and all should be well again with the world!

Thanks for the post. It was right on.

I've now created an updater to instantly update the software to v3.6:

Windows:

Mac:

This works with any version 3.x of the software.

This is an easier way to go! :)

Already downloading as I type this in Marc.
I kinda assumed that the old packs were installing
the older version engine on top of the new v3.6.
And since the folders basically have thier own script
files that TLC reads, it's pretty easy to move the folders.
Good to see a Dev that trys to keep the bugs
from being to much of a obstacle for the
customer :35:
Of course forum people are good information
resources too. I always check out the forums
when I am testing or weighing a buying decision
where software is concerned. You can learn a lot
from lurking ;)
