Need Help with Medical Center Logo

Well I have been trying to do a logo for my new venture but unfortunately what I have come up with just dioesn't seem up with the times right now. Plus I don't think it would fit on a business card. Any help you guys could give me would be appreciated. My logo just seems dull and unattractive.

Name of Business: BreGab Community Health Center for Women and Children
Slogan: Primary Care Services for Central Florida's Uninsured

Ok here is another shot at the logo for the Medical Center. When doing it.. I realized I left "for Women and Children" out of the first one. I hope you like the logo...

Jennifer, thanks for the examples. I really like the image of the mom and baby on the first one and would like to see it on the second logo you created instead of the hand. The fonts on the second logo are great. Could you change it to see how it looks?
