Hi,
I have just made my logo that i wish to update to my website, i am using Macromedia Dreamweaver Software to edit my website etc, but when i put the logo into Dreamweaver, it has a white background, i have tried opening the logo in another program to see if it is really transparent, and it clearly is! So how do i make the background transparent to update my website???

Oh and by the way, the Mascot Edition of TLC is SUPERB! If you dont have it GET IT! its will be money well spent!!!:35:

Hi RB5000.

Thanks for the compliment on the Mascot set! :)

If you've exported your logo from The Logo Creator as a transparant Gif (the tGif option) and you're able to see that it IS transparent in another program other than Dreamweaver, it sounds as if Dreamweaver is the culprit.

Import your image into Dreamweaver, then preview the whole thing in your browswer (hit CTRL-12, or Command-12 if you're a Mac user). Chances are, your image is transparent - but your version of Dreamweaver isn't able to see the transparency.

Dreamweaver MX fixes this.

Let me know if this helps RB!

I AM using Dreamweaver MX, and i have tried exporting it as a GIF transparent image, but still no luck, even when i veiw my website in the browser it doesnt work! it just has a white background. I have no idea whats wrong! but it happens with any image i import to dreamweaver, even moving GIFs!

Interesting.
... anybody out there have any Dreamweaver tips on this one? I see transparency fine in my copy of Dreamweaver.

RB, check the preferences, there may be some sort of 'low rez' gif viewing option that you can change.

I'll check my copy of DW too.
